yesterday bought a 2.5 inch external harddisk CASING. hahaha just the casing. for $10. yay. slide in the “spoilt” laptop hdd that has lazing around since don’t know when… instant 20gb ext hdd. YAY.

somehow it’s working quite alright, but I won’t use it for backup. probably just to transfer some data here and there.

coolness. Get 1 too… brand is A1pro. cheap. good. nice looking somewhat.

so IE 7 has been released. Or rather available for download. So the windows update for it gonna take some time I guess. So dewei downloaded it and installed it… never mind that the installation is kinda flaky. stalled for some time. HAHA

So he showed me the tab preview. Exposé or (wat’s the name for that in konfabulator?) for IE… laying out thumbnails of the tabs opened. Then we were trying to find a replacement for it in firefox. Some broke.

But… one did it quite well for me. here it is. Firefox Showcase. I installed version 0.8.0.4. Worked pretty well. press F12 to show a window. middle click to enlarge the thumbnail u wanna see… left click to choose… right click for other options.

Kinda cool… but somehow I don’t use it often. hahaha dunno about the rest. but for firefox ppl, here’s something that’s similar to IE 7. phishing sites filtering… think it’s scheduled for firefox 2.0. prolly gd. Don’t know if it’s useful enough to warrant that attention but still better than nothing.

so… either way, it’s better than IE 6.0 …. so upgrade now or later during windows update. Especially if u’re a IE user.

a few days after the network maintenance from starhub… I’m still getting 200+ on torrents but normal netsurfing is slower than before. Wonder why… Even on local sites, not just usa.

today did a lecture announcement in my lecture theatre. First time doing it in front of my coursemates… Second time in NTU doing in front of sooo many people. I must say… The view is good. HAHAHA feels smart just standing there talking. LOL.

today marks the first day of the IIC website that me and vincent has been working on for some time. It was up yesterday actually, but today is the first day somewhat. YAY.
