he told me malaysia flood….. priority for food and other supplies are given to malays. no surprise here…. but… when it comes to rescuing ppl… they also give priority!!! and also ask for money to save them~ omg.

then went to claire’s house to fix her pc… which miraculously healed upon my presence without me doing anything. problem is very possibly the power plug… so I asked them to get a UPS. good investment anyway. So I kinda fixed the software part… (read WGA…) it’s becoming like an annual thing. HAHA annual clean up of ppl’s com.

but hey, i got treated to lunch. HAHA as always. nice food. great folks.

claire’s sis kinda stunned me with her punkish look (since claire said a lot of ppl said she looked like a boy.. so it’s fine i guess… since they dun have a brother). HAHA but vanessa changed quite a lot since I last saw them. a year ago. lol

but the most stunning one is… their MAID!!! she wore a cap… reversed, like those hip hop ppl… and bounce around the house doing the chores. POWER.

I din remember her so hip hop…. must be vanessa’s punkish look rubbed off her. maybe they do break dance together in the living room with claire groaning at her application to MOE above. HAHAHAHA ROCKS.

back at home. dad brought a 69 pages map book and ask me to scan… which took me 3 hours.. THANX DAD. groans~ 43.9MB pdf file.

second day after the taiwan earthquake and the internet disruption here in singapore. today, my maxonline seem to get back to normal. surfing and downloading overseas website is fast, and even faster due to the speed upgrade. Looks like starhub did the re-routing very well. I’m getting 700+ on http downloads, bittorrent is also back to 100+.

On singnet’s side, I read in the forums that more than one person complained that singnet overseas surfing is worse than starhub or pacnet, at home or in office. Looks like singnet still has lots to do.

Something interesting that I’ve noticed over the last 2 days is… my upload limit seemed to increase from 30 kilobytes/sec to 40 kilobytes/sec, the normal upload speed for mol6500 before the speed upgrade. I can constantly upload at 39 kilobytes/sec… WOO~ thanx starhub. you rock. totally.

on a side note, my domain redirection is still a bit shaky, so if u do see zenru.naughtybananas.com instead of justru.com, it’s normal. You have not reached a phishing site or watsoever….

today is yet another rainy day. slept till 10. went out to plaza nearby to return library book and also bought some taiwan kyoho grapes.

DAMN NICE!

at first I didn’t know the skin can’t be eaten unlike most grapes… It’s super bitter and makes ur tongue purplish. Even the saliva turns dark purplish. But the meat is OMG super nice. Got seeds though. just spit them out.

wonder if there is seedless versions… the skin easily comes off.. but not the seeds.

Expensive. but nice.

so, I went out with daniel to find chinese classics book. lol. the day started damn bad. I waited for the bus 960 for ONE HOUR at the stupid god damn crowded wet/flooded bus stop. ONE HOUR! no need to say… confirm late liao.

lucky daniel din complain. thnx. so i found other means to get there… coz after ONE HOUR … the bus still din come. then we went to eat lai lai beef noodle… and had mango sago for dessert to calm my fiery du lan temper. food was good as usual.

after that we hop over to the central library.. to look for respectable chinese classics but lots of crap there… I borrowed a 老子 book… with english and chinese text in it. we went to bras basah. finally settled for 红楼梦… each one of us bought one. HAHAHA coz only $10. with 10% discount. cheapo kia.

then I went to sls for the kill. bought a 1GB xd card for my new camera… and bought a new mp3 player. sandisk sansa e260 4GB. good stuff. HAHAHA

then we hop over to plaza singapura… hoping to see some pretty girls but none. main reason for going there is to find $10 present for gift exchange. ended up in daiso. $2 item each. good stuff. bought what I wanted and left quickly. coz both of us quite hungry and have dinner at home.

so the bus journey back is damn WET…. coz I have super soggy socks…. and my umbrella is dripping like mad…. and the stupid orchard road is god damn stuck in traffic jam…. and my leg is breaking. But im happy. the mp3 player is charging now… 4GB is really.. too little, transferred some albums… full liao. I’m buying micro sd cards soon to boost the capacity. merry christmas to myself and all ! hahahah finally I got enough presents to offset the loneliness of christmas. hee hee

i got an early christmas present from my DAD!! HAHAHAHA he won lucky draw at the company dinner. so i got a new camera.. olympus camedia FE 190. i dun have a camera of my own… wanted to buy D40.. oh well. settle for this first.

my sis got a creative muvo 1GB… not bad. just lacking an expansion slot.
